The AIA Trust offers your component a wide variety of resources—ranging from program funding to educational seminars to member benefit programs. Take advantage of the many ways you can help your members be successful!
Program Grants
The AIA Trust-CNA/Schinnerer Component Grants Program supports component projects, conferences, and publications that help to foster leadership, advance management education, and increase the effectiveness of professional practice. More than $150,000 has been awarded to components through this grants program so far. For current grant program guidelines, click here.
Seminars
AIA Trust-LegaLine Seminars—Choose from topics such as: Copyright issues; Contracting with Consultants; How to Avoid Getting Sued; and The Owner’s Manual for Your Practice—for a seminar to net income for your component and/or provide additional member benefit of Learning Units—some offer HSW credit. AIA Trust Retirement Seminar—Find out important information you need to retire with a free, no sales pitch/no obligation seminar for your members—including how much income you need at retirement, typical sources of retirement income, risks & rewards of long term investing, and important tax changes. Importantly, you’ll cover the numerous plan design options to determine which best suits you, your firm, and/or your component. Attendance and subscription requirements apply. AIA Trust Webinars—You and your members can access on-line seminar presentations for yourselves or for a component (or firm) “lunch and learn” session to help everyone to understand better the many benefits available from the AIA Trust. To access the AIA Trust Webinars, click here.
Special Benefits
Member Benefits—Maintain a link on your component web site to the AIA Trust web site for your AIA members to access easily the many benefits available to them from the AIA Trust. In addition, a Trust link from your component site ensures that your component is eligible for Trust programs & assistance—such as grants, free seminars, meeting sponsorships, materials, and other programs. Offer Your Members an Additional Benefit—with a Component subscription to LegaLine. AIAS/AIA Trust Scholarship Program for Emerging Professionals is primarily intended to assist students with financial need by helping to pay their tuition and/or other direct educational expenses. Scholarships of $750 each will be awarded to qualified individuals, limited to AIAS members in their fifth year of an undergraduate professional degree or their first year of a graduate professional degree.
