NEW! Health Plan Options for Individuals and Firms
The AIA Trust has partnered with Pendella to offer AIA Members and their firms access to fully-funded medical insurance and health plan options. Their licensed Benefits Advisors can answer your questions and help you to develop a financial strategy that makes sense for your employee health and benefits plan and for your firm.
The Pendella service platform offers various ACA-compliant healthcare options depending on your state, as well as non-medical ancillary options such as dental and vision coverage, health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs), and HR benefit administration services – along with the AIA Trust term life and disability insurance plans.
Your employee benefits plan renews annually. However, there are cost-effective changes that can be implemented at any time. Visit the AIA Trust Webinars page to find out about firm and individual healthcare options in a free, 30-minute webinar!
Pendella offers your firm support in the following areas:
- Group Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
- Group Life, Disability, and Accident Insurance
- Employer Contribution and Deductible Strategies
- Other Financial Strategies, such as Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) and Health Savings Account (HSAs)
- Plan Design and Carrier Comparisons
For individual AIA Members and Sole Proprietors:
- Individual Medical Insurance
- Individual Dental and Vision Plans
The AIA Trust endorses the Pendella service to assist members in identifying health insurance coverage and developing a benefits plan that works best for their firms; however, none of the healthcare/medical or ancillary plans are endorsed group programs and therefore, the AIA Trust has no input into their rates or benefits. The AIA Trust Term Life Insurance Plan and Disability Plan are endorsed group plans with the New York Life Insurance Company, Inc.
The 2020 Federal open enrollment has ended, however the Administration has issued an Executive Order on January 28, 2021 that permits an additional open enrollment period. The new enrollment period opens on February 15, 2021 and now continues through August 15, 2021.
More details regarding this open enrollment period and a fact sheet from the Federal government are found in these links:
Some states have created their own enrollment platform and this link provides specific information regarding your state:
